One of America’s “Best Places to Live” (Money Magazine, 2006 – 2010), O’Fallon, Missouri, is also a great place to work. Since 2004, I have been responsible for nearly every item that bears the City seal: annual reports, Christmas ornaments, event promotions are more. Below are a few highlights:

Quarterly Newsletter and Parks & Rec Guide
The 56-page quarterly newsletter is a key communication tool for the City of O’Fallon to stay in touch with more than 42,500 homes and businesses. I have served as designer, photographer and editor for the piece since 2004, ensuring a high level of accuracy and timeliness.

The document has also been recognized with a few awards, including:

  • 2008, 2007, 2005, 2004 MPRA Outstanding Parks and Recreation Activity Guide (1st place)
  • 2006 IABC Excellence Award (1st place) for 4-color Newsletters
  • 2005 3CMA Savvy Award for External Newsletter (Pop. 45,000 – 69,000)

With more than 60,000 unique visitors each month, the O’Fallon network of sites is a popular destination for residents and businesses seeking City services, event details and general information. I have served as designer and webmaster since early 2006, ensuring the day-to-day functionality of the sites’ tools and accuracy of the information.
